Dr. Chan and his wife, Mae have four children and reside in Carmel Valley. In addition to practicing dentistry and spending time with his family, Dr. Chan has played cello for over 30 seasons in the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus. Dr. Chan also enjoys playing golf, going to the San Diego Opera with his wife and being a part of a musical group with his family, called The CHANerations, 3 generations of musicians.
